To stay healthy, a person should ensure that they do moderate aerobic exercise 3-5 times a week, lasting 20-30 minutes each time. But many people say they are too busy to go to the gym.
To this end, the researchers tested and observed 23 physically healthy people who participated in the experimental project. They were divided into three groups. The first group performed moderate cycling training for 2 hours a day; the second group only trained for 10 minutes a day, but while waiting for the bus, these people had to have an explosive acceleration every minute and always maintain a fast speed; the third group The group requires the highest intensity. Each person must perform a pedaling sprint every 30 seconds and maintain high speed for 2 minutes without stopping. After the training program, the researchers compared each person's performance records before training and after training and found that the fitness effects of the three groups were exactly the same. The analysis showed that these people's muscle oxygen uptake rate - an important indicator of health - increased to a similar extent after exercise.
However, the research report also pointed out that although short-term high-intensity exercise can improve a person's endurance and increase muscle strength, this type of exercise may be counterproductive for people with weak physiques.
